Steven P. Vitatoe, Candidate No. 3
Steven P. Vitatoe has been the executive director of enrollment since 2009. During both of the years that he’s served in that position, freshman enrollment at John Carroll University has increased, according to his resume.
In his cover letter, Vitatoe said that his strengths lie in the areas of marketing, technology and strategic planning, and that he is skilled in the practice of data-informed decision making. “I am aware of the issues currently facing the field of higher education, especially for schools located in Ohio,” he said.
Starting in 1996, Vitatoe has served at John Carroll in five other positions: director of enrollment operations, interim director of admission, associate director of admission, assistant director of admission and admission counselor.
John Carroll University is a private university providing programs in liberal arts, sciences and business. It enrolls approximately 3,000 students. John Carroll is on a semester schedule.
Vitatoe holds a master in business administration and a bachelor of science in business administration, both from John Carroll.
