“The Walking Dead Survival: Instinct” for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii U

Fans of “The Walking Dead” television series on AMC and zombie gamers alike will love the new first-person “crossbow” shooter and survival game from Terminal Reality. The game serves as a prequel to the television series as well as a back story for the Dixon Brothers, Daryl and Merle. Players will navigate Daryl as he and Merle explore the Georgia countryside on their way to Atlanta during the early months of the apocalypse. They will face challenges such as hordes of zombies, encounters with walkers and meeting other survivors who may or may not be trustworthy. Players can expect to get a lot of use out of Daryl’s trusty crossbow.
“Gears of War: Judgment” for Xbox 360

Even though the trilogy is over, the highly successful “Gears of War” series still has some games up its sleeves in the form of prequels. “Judgment” follows Lt. Damon Baird who is the leader of the Kilo Squad.
The game takes place fourteen years before the events of the “Gears of War” trilogy. The game is set in Halvo Bay, which is being taken over by the familiar enemy, the locust. Baird will fight alongside fellow trilogy character Augustus Cole, as we see how the friendship between these two characters was formed. Weapons of the trilogy will make an appearance as well as a new feature called declassified missions. This game will also introduce new modes in multiplayer that developers have kept secret, but said they are unlike anything ever seen before in these games.
“BioShock Infinite” for Xbox 360, PS3, PC

“BioShock Infinite” is set in 1912 and follows the story of Booker Dewitt as he sets out to rescue a young woman named Elizabeth who has been held captive for many years. The two find themselves on the run from two different groups, both after Elizabeth and the powers that she possesses. Elizabeth, who can create riffs in the space-time continuum, needs to be taken back to New York City by Dewitt so he can be cleared of old debts. Dewitt will use a variety of weapons to help navigate Elizabeth to New York City. She will assist as well, using her powers to help ward off enemies. While this game includes some elements from the other “BioShock” games, the story is not related to them.
“Dead Island: Riptide” for Xbox 360, PS3, PC

Picking up right where “Dead Island” left off, “Dead Island: Riptide” promises more zombie-killing action with customizable melee weapons and guns. The heros from the last game were able to escape the island by helicopter and board a military ship. However, after the crew becomes infected, they must make an emergency landing on a new island and they find themselves right back to square one. Those who played the original “Dead Island” can import their own game before beginning the new chapter in the story. New features include a new playable character and drivable boats to help navigate the island.
