In case you missed it:

U.S. - The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics published the most recent report on U.S. unemployment rates on Friday, April 3. The report concludes that the unemployment rate of 5.5 has remained fairly unchanged in March.

World - Two gunmen  attacked Garissa University College in Kenya last Thursday, April 2, killing 148 people. It is  reported that the Somalia's al-Shabab militant group separated Muslim from Christian students then gunned down the Christian students. 

Coming up:

The NCAA March Madness final will be a facedown between the Wisconsin Badgers and Duke's Blue Devils. The final game will be held in Indianapolis on April 6 and has been a culmination of 68 teams and playing in 34 games. 

Otterbein:

It was  announced last Thursday the vice president of institutional advancement and head of Where We Stand Matters initiative, Heidi Tracy, will be leaving Otterbein University to fill the position of vice president for university advancement at Texas Women's University. 

Men's lacrosse pulled off a 10-9 overtime win over John Carroll University on Saturday. 

Housing selection is this Tuesday, April 7, in the Campus Center at 3 p.m.

The musical Into the Woods opens this Thursday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m.

farewell reception for Lois Szudy who is retiring after 25 years at Otterbein will be held on the first floor of the library on Friday, April 10, from 3 to 5 p.m. 

LGBT awareness week begins Monday with events happening all week, many of which are FYS and INST approved events
