Otterbein men's basketball loses season finale

The Cardinals finish their season with an 82-62 loss to Baldwin Wallace

The Otterbein men’s basketball team ended its season with an 82-62 loss to Baldwin Wallace Saturday afternoon inside the Rike Center. Seniors Connor Clark and Andre Bradley were honored before the game. 

The Cardinals finish the season 6-19 overall and 3-15 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC). Baldwin Wallace heads into the OAC tournament 17-8 overall and 11-7 in the conference. Justin Carter led Otterbein in scoring with 12 points. Bradley contributed 10 points in his final home game.

The Yellow Jackets were in firm control of the contest from the start. They led by double digits for the remainder of the game with 10 minutes left in the first half. Baldwin Wallace would lead 48-27 going into the locker room.

The visitors acquired their largest lead of the afternoon (53-30) shortly into the second half. The Cardinals were able to force 16 turnovers and score 15 points off the Yellow Jackets. Baldwin Wallace held significant advantages in bench points (37-22) and second chance points (22-8).

Clark ended his Otterbein career with six points and four rebounds.

Otterbein outscored Baldwin Wallace 35-34 in the second half.
