T&C Media took home several awards at the College Media Association (CMA) conference in New Orleans, Louisiana on Oct. 31. The organization took home a total of eight Pinnacle Awards.
The T&C Media staff won third place in Division ll and Division lll in General News Email Newsletter. Our newsletter, The Chirp, comes out weekly and mentions recently published articles.
Individual awards included
- Second place in Division lll for Best Investigative Story written by Kailey Mishler
- Third place in Division lll for Best Breaking News Coverage of Diversity written by Chloe O'Neill
- Honorable mention in Division lll for Best Column by Dalton Mosley.
There were also many awards earned in photography and graphics by current and recently graduated T&C Media Staff members.
- Second place in Division lll for Best Infographic by Lily Peter
- Third place in Division lll for Best Feature Photo by Lily Peter
- Second place in Division lll for Best Sports News Photo by Amy Hissrich
- Honorable Mention in Division lll for Best Sports Feature Photo by Ella Sedlock.
The CMA will announce other awards, including the David L. Adams Apple Awards, during the spring semester at the New York City conference.
