Otterbein men's soccer to host NCAA Tournament games

Men's soccer will host the first and second rounds beginning on Saturday, November 11. Their opponent is Medaille. Kenyon and Transylvania are in the other first round game. Saturday winners will play on Sunday, November 12, with the winner advancing to sectionals.

Otterbein volleyball team will host regional

Volleyball will host the regional beginning on Friday, November 10. Their opponent is Cabrini. A win could lead to a rematch with conference rival Ohio Northern on Saturday. The regional championship is Sunday.

Otterbein students get informed about upcoming election

National Election Day is November 7th. Many Otterbein students aren't aware of what they will be voting for on their local ballot. Some of the issues included in the upcoming ballot for Westerville include: Rights for crime victims, state agencies paying for prescription drugs, liquor policies, and officials for the city. Otterbein Campus Fire Safety Day

The Westerville Fire Department and the Campus Safety Team hosted Otterbein’s Annual Campus Fire Safety Day to bring awareness to students the importance of fire safety. Students had fire extinguisher training and were taught the acronym RACE which explained what they should do in the event of a fire. Westerville Chief Fire Marshal David A. Williams burned a dollhouse and used the visual to inform students why they should not prop doors open.

WOBN Celebrates College Radio Day with 24 hour live broadcast

WOBN, Otterbein's student-run radio station, celebrated College Radio Day 2017 by having a 24 hour live broadcast with back to back showcases such as "Sorry Not Sorry", "Campus Country", "LIT" and more. The broadcast started on midnight of Thursday, October 5. College Radio Day is an annual event where hundreds of college radio stations come together to celebrate the importance of college radio. The 7th annual College Radio Day was on Friday, October 6.
