Otterbein beat the Wilmington College Quakers Tuesday night in the Rike Center three sets to none. Coming into the game the Quakers were looking for a win that would mark only their second of the season — they are now 1-16 and 0-6 in the OAC.
The Otterbein Cardinals men’s soccer team, now 6-6 overall and 1-2 in OAC, received their first OAC win at home against the Muskies of Muskingum, who are 5-8 overall and 0-3 in OAC, on Saturday afternoon.
Otterbein is currently $200,000 away from their $2 million goal to install a new track and turf field at Memorial Stadium. The field surface, which is currently used for football and men’s lacrosse games, will expand to incorporate a soccer field for both men’s and women’s soccer. “Here at Otterbein, the stadium is the center of campus,” Athletic Director Dawn Stewart said.
Senior special education major Annie Juenger returns to the Otterbein volleyball team for the 2013 season as a three-year letterwinner.
