An alien invasion, classic characters, huge explosions and even bigger movie stars all come together to create Marvel’s “The Avengers” — the best superhero film to date.
“There’s nothing to do. I just want to go home this weekend.” That’s something I hear from people on campus quite a lot, and to be honest, as a commuter who has lived in central Ohio for the majority of his life, I must say that I’m offended.

“Act of Valor” didn’t disappoint me. I got that buddy action flick that wasn’t a comedy I’ve been wanting for quite some time. This is the movie that should win some awards next year. If not, this will be another year where I shake my head at other critics.
The Grammys are well over, and “American Idol” is whittling down this season’s finalists after having just been to Las Vegas.
Valentine’s Day is over. No more annoying “Every kiss begins with Kay” or pink heart overload.
Next week, the “Twisted Metal” franchise is set to release its newest installment. Even though I have preordered it, I’m not totally sold on the game, especially after a few games that were total disasters in 2011.
